How to Set Realistic Health & Fitness Goals & Why
Do you ever feel adrift in life, just sort of floating your way through life with no real purpose?
Well it happens more than you think, lacking direction, that feeling you’re not really achieving what you would like.
It’s time to write some health & fitness goals down & feel the motivation creep back in just by writing some goals down to work on you.
Besides, there is only one you & without your health you’re no good to anyone. Yet we sacrifice a our health more than we think, or just come up with excuse after excuse.
Exercise leads to more energy, better sleep, reduces all sort of sickness & diseases + you will release endorphins, the feel good hormones to make a happier you.
Set meaningful realistic goals on your health & not just about weight loss. Goals should be more health & fitness related like the following, especially when you first start;
GOALS
- Be consistent with training
- Have more energy & sleep better
- Be stronger – look after my bones
- Negate stress / well being
- Eat better
Once you’re hitting your goals & feeling better then you can change your goals up to more result based goals.
Setting goals will help with new behaviours, & set you on a path to change a few things in your life that are dragging you down.
Have a reason to your goal with a call to action & 1 behavioural change you think you need to make in order to hit your goals.
The body will follow suit & change when your consistently training & eating well most of the time & in the gym for the right reasons.
